Happy 250th Birthday to the USA
A Word from God’s Heart to the Nation
by Betty Miller-Haddix
As a handmaid of the Lord, I am bringing this message from the heart of God to the USA.
God loves the nations and our nation has been one that has shown His light and His way.
He is happy that our country has been, as President Reagan said, “A City Set Upon a Hill.”
A nation of pioneers and moral believers, though faulty at times, have presented His Will.
In America, they found true freedom and truth, but also, they enjoyed so much more.
Looking for freedom, they came from all backgrounds, races and creeds; the rich and the poor.
God’s abundant blessings were over this land, giving His people the desire to bless others.
Their children were the first to receive His love and care from their fathers and mothers.
They invited God and Holy Spirit into their homes, churches, schools and each field.
They dedicated their lives to the work before them and worked with their hands to build.
Their crops produced an abundance of food for all, so they were there to help others.
They shared with the world during famines and wars, as they helped all earthly brothers.
America has sent missionaries around the world to show God’s love for all people.
Soon, across the nation we heard Words of life in buildings that had a steeple.
With a desire to worship God freely, from their mother land this nation was torn.
Christianity was shared with those who sat in darkness and to those who mourn.
Men who loved freedom set foot on the shores of America and were so grateful.
Here they could seek and serve God with a covenant to always be faithful.
The Christians who came were totally dedicated to God and a new life in Him.
They suffered much and here they could shine and their future would not grow dim.
They brought little to this land, but they did have faith and could worship without fear.
They gave up their lives to serve the Lord and to protect all they held dear.
They thought they were far enough away, and would not be a threat to the British king.
But, alas, they had to fight for this new land in order to let freedom ring.
They wanted to be free from the tyranny of a king who demanded the bondage of their souls,
The colonies joined as soon they realized there was strength in their common union and goals.
A number of very brave men united their hearts, their wills, their strength and their fortunes too.
So, they prayed and debated until they could come into agreement on what they should do.
They realized this was a “do or die” plan, but life without freedom was not life at all.
So, with hearts full of faith and courage, they chose freedom and answered the call,
Making a proclamation to the world that they were now independent of Britain’s hand.
Thus in 1776, was born the “Declaration of Independence,” and the birth of a new land.
They first had to learn how to dwell in unity and work together in a united way.
Thus, each state joined to become one under the new constitution in that day.
They declared all men equal under the United Sates of America’s new liberty.
May we remember their words in our current chaos and appalling disunity.
Our founding fathers penned holy words that reflected Father God’s desire for the nation’s calls.
It was a new way and experiment for men to bring God and prayer into government halls.
They soon realized only those who were Christians could abide by this plan for future days.
As it would take God’s power to make it work and a praying people who followed His ways.
God blessed America; she not only won independence, but so much more.
Soon God’s promises to His people began to happen, as God opened a spiritual door.
God’s Words in the Holy Bible were communicated to the world far and wide.
His favor rested upon her and His blessings, protection and goodness did abide.
However, the corporate soul of moral America soon saw His Word condoned slavery.
God sent His Son, Jesus, and His Words brought the truth, that all men should be free.
Another battle had to be fought, as the nation suffered a civil war over this grievous sin.
This nation had to line up with the Word of God or be totally destroyed from within.
President Lincoln, in the middle of this controversy, chose God and the Bible as his guides.
Slavery could not be tolerated; because of this he was hated by some on both sides.
Truth prevailed in the end, and The United States of America did what was right.
God continued to bless her, but even now she struggles to shun another dark night.
Gradually, over the years, she began to reject morality and embrace sin once more.
Now facing a crossroads because of her corporate sin, she is like a wife who became a whore.
There is a battle now raging for the soul of our country and it is a spiritual one to overcome evil.
We must win this one or we will again plunge into the wickedness of the deception of the devil.
This past century, we have seen the decline and decay, as from within, we were attacked.
Men decided “no prayer in schools” and our founding principals were no longer backed.
Modern life and culture began a serious decline, leaving our faith in Christ, we fell away.
We began calling “evil” “good” and “good” “evil” and great confusion began to haunt our way.
Fathers and mothers now embraced a new sin, the killing of babies with-in the womb.
This is an abomination according to the Bible and the penalty is death and the tomb.
The spirit of death entered our land and children were not safe because of government edicts
That allowed transgenderism and abnormal unions that bring more death, as the Bible predicts.
God’s heart is broken at all these abominations of innocent lives who have been slain.
We must repent and stop our sins as a nation, as now we face more judgment and pain.
Our apathy and lust for the things of the world have now dulled our natural senses.
We no longer want police authority to keep us safe, nor do we want borders and fences.
Now these are the days of the end of this age and there is a battle for each man’s heart.
It is a fierce battle between good and evil; now God wants to help us from sin to depart.
He has been gracious to extend His Hand of mercy, waiting for mankind to repent.
Jesus died on a cross for our sins. God raised Him from the dead; that is why He was sent.
We now have a choice to make. We must be humble and commit to God or face judgment.
There is a penalty for sin, but Jesus took that penalty for us, if we will surrender and repent.
Our corporate sins in our nation are many: pride, lust, greed, disunity, anger, hatred and more.
We can avert the judgments on our nation by coming to God, which opens for us, a new door.
This fourth of July, our nation celebrates 250 years of freedom from bondage, tyranny and fear.
However, we face another foe, within each of our souls; “our sin,” for which we shed not-a-tear.
Preachers and prophets are sending warnings about our wickedness, as the time is short.
We do not have long to make things right, so let us listen to God and from our sins depart.
Judgment is simply the penalty for sin; however, if we turn back to our Lord, He will forgive.
America is suffering, as we reap what we sow, but I pray she will be restored and will live.
God has a remnant He will use to get us through hard times, so we can shine once again,
With the light and love of God; those who serve Him will show us how to rebuild and begin.
Happy Birthday America! I am believing you will have many more happy and prosperous days.
I believe fallen Americans will repent and join in prayer for deliverance of her evil, unholy ways.
We love our country, but hate her “beastly deeds.” Let us spend time praying before the throne.
Then, we know we shall see God move in our country with blessings and all curses will be gone.
“Lord, may You spare the USA when You separate Your “sheep nations” from the “goat nations.”
May You send the mighty Holy Spirit to spare us from destruction: bring us transformations!
We know You want to save us. Thank you for all righteous leaders that care. Let us look up!
Our redemption draweth nigh. The day is coming we will drink new wine with You. Fill our cup.”
America has a call to lead the way into the Kingdom of God at Christ’s soon return.
Let us not be like Israel of old, when she failed to obey, she suffered. From her past, let us learn.
Let us not blame others, but look to our own hearts, regarding the things we need to correct.
As we do this, we are assured that God will have mercy and He will then bless and protect.
Teach us to pray for our families, our businesses, our nation and our sisters and brothers.
If each of us bow our hearts and knees, then we will win. We cannot leave this battle to others.
The Bible says, we can have the ”goodness or the severity of God.” Let us return to Him.
We then can be restored and fulfill our destiny. We must pray to that end. Amen and Amen!
